It looks like slashdot.org is finally making the leap to css. I for one am quite happy about it. It leads to the possiblity of a contest to create a new look for the venerable old home page. Slashdot is one of the oldest blogs of the internet, if not the oldest, and in that time I can’t remember anything changing. It has actually been quite frustrating to think that a site that champions open source and open protocols could spend so much time in the dark.

I fixed the blockquote css… and made the text a little darker. If any one would like anything changed about the sites UI, or usability, post a comment. We could also discuss a charter, mission statement or manifesto. Hopefully we can get this thing “bumping” in the near future. And of course I defer to JZ on all creative issues.

Implications of blatant water on mars.

I’m hoping this gets a gov supported manned mission to mars soon. This could be enough to get some money, and NASA is so fd up that they need to be killed and resurrected like the phoenix (I need to be informed about the amount of HP I can give away. I assume we’ve all read HBP.) Its also a great PR opportunity for a desperate white house, they could send Karl Rove to mars! Make him an astronaut–that is the perfect solution–also send Tom Delay and Norm-Motherfucking-Coleman.

I digress. I like that as a title… wedigress.com… its clear!!!
