I fear, however, that this list will whittle things down for you to the point where you actually end up voting for Mon Mothma. Politicians are the same people they were in high school: "free ice cream on Fridays for those who vote for me" is the same as "no new taxes".  A politician who is actually capable of receiving enough votes to win the presidential election oftentimes feels that the only way he or she will be able to appeal to Wal-Merica (a HUGE chunk of the voting public, unfortunately) is to speak in nothing but cliches and one-third-to-half-truths. 

Or maybe I'm just jaded.
