My company commander expressly warned us about talking to the media so our words would not get twisted.

If any of us had gone anywhere with a bullhorn and confronted the public, KNOWING we would be on TV we would have been subjected to UCMJ action. Definitely an Article 15 worthy offense. Especially with the POSTING of the video on the internet - it clearly indicates pre-medidation of the act.

This is not news, this is Fox News. It is all fabricated bullshit. The Fox Reporters deride the protesters as aging hippies who are out for one more hurrah - yet the video shot by their stealth reporter in the Corporal's cage completely contradicts the previous stories they reported.

The Corporal should shut his mouth (and turn off his bullhorn) and go home.

He's still a soldier, not a protester. It sounds like he forgot his three "General Orders":

1. I will guard everything within the limits of my post and quit my post only when properly relieved.

2. I will obey my special orders and perform all of my duties in a military manner.

3. I will report violations of my special orders, emergencies, and anything not covered in my instructions to the commander of the relief.

I'd say he needs to focus on performing all of his duties in a military manner.

I don't think anyone at Walter Reed added "Attend anti-war protest and mock protesters" to his list of duties. He could ask his chain-of-command if he should be attending protests for any reason.

Their answer would be "No."

I've never seen this "fox news" of which you speak. Is it made by a regular youtube poster?

Seriously though, good video evidence. After seeing his story change I'd like to spit on him... although I wouldn't do it.
