Same Old Republicans: The Anti-Christ!

Why do we hve to hear Bush slam Kerry all over again? The White House neocon thugs know damn well that there is no an American veteran alive or dead who would dishonor sacrifices made by fellow vets.

They’re lying. They are fabricating lies about their favorite punching bag, John Kerry.

It’s what they do.

They create a false news story because they want Americans to forget one crucial fact for election day:

Every GOP administration since 1952 has let the Military-Industrial Complex loot the Treasury and plunge the nation into debt on the excuse of a wartime economic emergency.

What has become of American society when the only history we remember is what is told to us in yesterday’s sound bites? The pathetic thing is he is not even doing it for any higher purpose, he is simply doing it in a last ditch effort to maintain the neocon stranglehold on all three branches of American Government.

If you recall the debate post from Oscar, one of the things that Mark Kennedy chided his opponents for was trying to get a good sound bite. Guess what Mr. Kennedy - the cheap charlatan you call a president and to whom kow-tow is doing precisely that: searching for a sound bite.

The really sad thing is that with a name like Kennedy, there are surely folks out there who are voting for him solely on the name recognition with a more famous set of Kennedy brothers. If you think Mr. Kennedy did not consider the built-in name recognition when he ran for office in a heavily BLUE state, then you are mistaken. It’s just one of those facts you have put in the “Sad, But True” category.

Interestingly, fellow Republican Michele Bachmann, like Peter denying Jesus, is heatedly denying suggestions that her religious sect believes that the Pope is the Anti-Christ in conflict with a direct statement on their synod’s website detailing that exact reference in Smalcald Articles II, IV, 10-14, (cf. also Formula of Concord, Solid Declaration, X, 20) which begin thus:

“This teaching shows forcefully that the Pope is the very Antichrist…”

So they have a documented, written example of religious dogma that targets specific Christians and they are attempting to spin it to the media as though it is not a part of their core belief system - even though what we have is not a sound bite taken out of context, rather it is a part of their fundamental documented system of beliefs.

American politics, six days before a mid-term elections and everything is being reduced to sound bites, lies, and doublespeak. All I ask is that you remember a little history when you go to your local polling center.

If the citizens of the United States do not heed the warnings of history on November 7th, 2006, we are all doomed. Nothing will save us then.
