Get it On, Bang a Gong!

They rang the gong on the Aggramar server in WoW last night. Now there are giant Anubis-like creatures running around the world killing everything.

It is a once-in-a-server-lifetime event.

The event has been going on since around midnight when I logged off.

I logged in this morning to check it out and was immediately in combat.

I wish it would last until tonight when I get home…but much like all MMORPGs…the shut-ins and losers will get all the good loot. Not through skill or even dumb luck, just through sheer hours logged on to the game.

I only play because I consider myself a casual gamer. I help out guildies with stuff and give advice. And if I get to kill elves along the way, well that’s cool too.

I am having fun on a PvP server also (Cho’Gall). I was invited to a “twink” guild due to my “Battleground” presence with my L. 26 Priest.

I am a dork…but so is Nikki!!

Aw!! I can’t believe I missed it! And after I farmed all that heavy leather, too!

It seems a poor decision to only make these events available for such a short time. What if you have an emergency? You just miss out? You should get some kind of discount if you have a conflict with something cool.

The discount is going to be paatch 1.10. In the olden days, if you wanted the best loot, you had to group with forty other people or fight in the battlegrounds a all the time.

Now, the casual player will FINALLY have access to the best items…simply by playing every now and then.

Well, that’s what they promise anyway. I am sure they are lying.
